The fifth installment of the Transformers franchise is currently being filmed in London and it didn't take long before supercar spotters landed on the set.
As a result, we can now bring you the pair of clips at the bottom of the page, which show The Last Knight action in all its high-octane glory.

Transformer fans rejoice at the idea of the ultra-rare Lamborghini Centenario (we're talking about the Coupe here) being cast in the role of Hot Rod and we can see the hypercar doing its thing on the set.

A glance at the original 1986 movie reminds us that Hot Rod, the main character, takes over after Optimus Prime passes away, with the first actually becoming Rodimus Prime.

Interestingly, the pieces of footage we have here also include the Aston Martin DB11 and the McLaren 570S. While their presence as Transformers has not been officially confirmed, we should expect them to go all mechanical in the upcoming motion picture.

However, director Michael Bay has let it slip that the Mercedes-AMG GT R will become Drift, while Onslaught will take the form of a Western Star 4900 SF Truck.

Don't miss the camera car

Heck, even the camera car seen here is nothing short of delicious - we're talking about an  Audi RS4. This is a B7 model produced about one decade ago, which we can see defying the current twin-turbo trends with its naturally aspirated V8. Heck, given all the equipment fitted to the RS4, we wouldn't point our finger at somebody mistaking it for a Transformer.

The countdown is on - on June 23, 2017, The Last Knight is scheduled to have its official release. However, we'll certainly get to dig deeper into the production work by then and we'll return with fresh info as soon as we get our hands on it.
