Now that the Lamborghini Gallardo has gone out of production, we’re getting closer and closer to meeting its successor, the Cabrera. Well, it seems that we may have the first leaked images here, even though these look more like renderings to us.
We’re dealing with a set of scans for the Quattroruote.it December print issue, which show both the front and the rear ends of the Lamborghini supercar.
Regardless of the images’ labelling, it is obvious that the Cabrera will look like this. You don’t even have to take out word for it, you can simply check out the latest Cabrera spyshots.
There reveal the Lamborghini Cabrera pre-production model, without the heavy camouflage of the past. Yes, the psychedelic wrap is still there, but the car’s silhouette and even many of its details, are clearly visible. The match to what we see in the adjacent images is almost a perfect one.
We’re very curious to see what Lamborghini does with the carbon fiber for the Cabrera. Earlier today, we talked about Audi confirming that the 2015 R8, which will obviously share a lot of components with the Cabrera, will shed between 100 and 130 lbs (50-60 kg) thanks to the wonder material. Your move Lamborghini.
