There is no question about it, the Gallardo is the most popular Lambo. We say that because despite it’s exclusivity and the forbidding price tag, they’ve sold really well. Over a perior of 10 years since the first version was launched, a staggering 12,000 of these V10 supercars have been put together.
By comparison, production of the old flagship, the Murcielago, stopped at 4,099 units and was then switched to the Aventador. Still, the former was much more expensive and was more impractical in the city due to its size.

It’s still a looker, but the Gallardo is now getting long in the tooth. Production started way back in 2003, meaning a replacement should arrive within the next year or so. In fact, Lamborgini even went as far as to ask its followers if they are “Ready for what comes next?”

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
