Underground Racing is an US tuner that has an obsession with slapping twin-turbo systems to supercars, with the aftermaket developer sometimes managing to double the output of these already insanely powerful machines.
This time, the guys are giving us a video in which they show us what one of their more civilized systems can do: a 700 hp bolt-on kit for the Ferrari 458 Italia.
The Italian temptress sees its output boosted to 700 hp, the exact power figure of the Lamborghini Aventador. Well. not quite the same, since in the case of the tuned Prancing Horse we are talking about wheel horse power.
But let’s not ruin our case here, since Underground Racing chose such an interesting way of demonstrating how this works on the road, pitting their twin-turbo 458 Italia against Lambo’s Aventador.
You can see the result in the adjacent videos, which shows the two cars street racing on the highway. We have to note that the difference between them had been significantly smaller if a standing start would’ve been used instead of a rolling one, as the Aventador’s 4WD system would’ve helped the Raging Bull.
