One month ago today, we brought you a Dodge Challenger Hellcat that though it was a Lancia Stratos rally car. Well, here we are, bringing you a similar stunt. It's just that, this time around, the cosplayer we're here to show you is a Lamborghini Aventador, the freaking Superveloce kind.
As motorsport aficionados know, the Alitalia livery was made famous by the Lancia Stratos rally car and seeing this 750 hp Sant'Agata Bolognese machine wearing it is otherworldly.
Absolute Motors, the Dutch crew that handled this visual transformation, went all the way. From the yellow wheels to the just-as-yellow extra lights mounted on the nose of the supercar, all the right bits are here.
The second skin specialist was kind enough to provide a photo of the Aventador SV in factory trim, while we can also show you a real-world pic of the car, so nobody expects this to be a Photoshop job.
Come to think of it, since the Aventador SV, with its sub-7m Nurburgring time, is the most responsive V12 model in the history of the Raging Bull, perhaps the rally tag is partially fitting.
As anybody with a thirst for all things automotive can expect, talking about Lamborghini tuning only makes us think of... more goodies of the sort.
And we'd like to introduce two opposite projects on the matter. We'll start with one that can also be called the opposite of the Aventador rally car cosplay we have here, namely the Double Pink Aventador we showed you earlier today. That's right, the name says it all.
Then there's an actual Lamborghini rally car we want to remind you of. Just like the Superveloce above, the rally machine we're discussing comes from The Netherlands. However, this time around we're talking about the Gallardo.
Speaking of such Racing Bulls, we must also remind you of an American project dubbed Brakimghini - you'll find both these rally cars here.
