To the best of our knowledge, the Lamborghini Aventador has had a good fire record so far, with the V12 Lambo managing to stay away from the “spontaneous combustion” label. However, nothing could save the Aventador Roadster in the adjacent video from burning, since the car was set on fire by vandals. Apparently, it was all an act of... jealousy.
The unfortunate event took place in London, with the Aventador Roadster receiving a brief but effective attack. The Lamborghini’s ordeal was captured by a security camera and it’s worth mentioning that the supercar belongs to Aleem Iqbal, who likes to be called Lord Aleem.

Like we said, this is believed to be an act of jealousy - the Rosso Mars-finished Aventador is part of London’s supercar scene and while we’re not aware of the manner in which Aleem drives his car, it appears that some people were not pleased with its very existence.

The footage shows three men descending from a Mercedes ML and taking on the Lamborghini. The first step? The glass on the passenger's side was broken with a hammer. Once the vandals had access to the Aventador Roadster’e cabin, they poured gasoline inside the supercar, set the thing on fire and then fled the scene in their SUV. A massive fire spread throughout the cabin, with the car currently being investigated for the extensive damage.

Aleem had received his Rosso Mars Aventador Roadster about a month ago, with the supercar being just one of the exotic rides that have served him.
