Lamborghini Aventador Reaches Full Sound Potential With Custom Exhaust

The Lamborghini Aventador was criticized when it was first launched for sounding a bit too much like a food blender, and with the standard factory exhaust fitted, it kind of does (especially at low revs). However, we were curious what is 6.5-liter V12 would sound like, once it was allowed to breathe out more easily via a custom exhaust system.
Well, courtesy of Marchettino, we now have a video showing just that. The standard exhaust system makes the Aventador sound not-rough-and-manly-enough, yet we are happy to report that an aftermarket system cures the problem, and makes it sound just as good as the Muricelago it replaces.

Throttle response may also be slightly improved with the addition of the new exhaust, not that it really needed a more violent throttle, but it’s good to know it can still be improved and worked on with very successful results!
