We’ve all seen the Lamborghini Aventador patrol car playing with other members of the Dubai Police supercar fleet. We have probably all longed for such a machine, but one scale model collector went further than that, creating his own Aventador police "car".
This is an AutoArt Lamborghini Aventador 1:18 scale model and it now sports a Matter Black finish, with a set of fitting decalls. When it comes to functionality, this example does a pretty good impersonation of a patrol car, since it’s fitted with a light bar that actually works, as you can see in the image above. Hey, it even uses LEDs, so nobody should be worried about energy consumption around here.
Moreover, the Aventador comes with a scale model speed camera, perhaps to keep LEGO figures from disobeying the speed limit. We’re not quite sure on this last feature, but we can be certain that, once those Lambo doors with Police sticker go up, all the attention around is captured.
Come to think of it, the Lamborghini Aventador is a rather contrasting choice when it comes to serving as a Police car. Sure, the V12-powered Lamborghini has more than enough grunt and all-wheel drive on its side. On the other hand, the Aventador is intimidating to drive, not exactly the first choice when it comes to delicate pursuit maneuvers. Either way, the unnamed dedicated collector probably doesn’t have any issues of this sort.
