The Lamborghini Aventador has been receiving more and more aftermarket goodies and the latest company to develop something for the Raging Bull is Capristo, which has recently presented a stainless steel exhaust system for the supercar.
The V12 engine of the Aventador has been fitted with a custom ehxaust made from 1.4828 (T309) stainless steel, which, to the driver’s delight, includes remote-controlled flaps, which allow the person behind the wheel to play with the voice of the powerplant.
The new exhaust is 40 kg lighter than the one it replaces, but the company doesn’t tell us how much extra muscle the engine delivers thanks to it. However, the Aventador now deals with the 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) sprint 0.1 seconds faster and manages to reach a top speed that’s a tad higher (220 mph or 354 km/h).
However, the Capristo Aventador exhaust system doesn’t come with TUV approval, so it is not legal on German public roads and in certain countries.
In addition to that, Capristo has also developed a set of carbon fiber parts for the Aventador, which you can read about here.
