Lamborghini Aventador 50th Anniversario Crashes in Hong Kong

If you get to drive a Lamborghini Aventador, you will instantly notice that the width of the thing, together with its... ahem... evil visibility mix in a manner that doesn’t make the supercar friendly to narrow roads. Well, it appears that one driver in Hong Kong learned this lesson the hard way.

The man crashed an Aventador 50th Anniversario, one of the only 200 units to be made. This is believed to be the first crash of the Aventador's special edition.

This appears to be a test drive car, with the most important clue being the number plate up front - this seems to be the temporary kind used by dealers during test drives. What’s more, the passenger seat still has the plastic protection on. And perhaps the tissues inside the car are there to help with the tears shed upon the accident...

While the Aventador 50th Anniversario hit the rock wall on the side of the road, the damage doesn’t seem to be all that severe. Despite this, the impact was hard enough to determine the airbags to be deployed, as you can see in the adjacent images.

This means that the vehicle will be back on the road soon, but somebody at an insurance company will not be to happy about this.
