Lamborghini Asterion Receives Virtual Tuning

Right now, quite a lot of people, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann probably included, wish the Raging Bull would put the Asterion into production. Alas, that’s not going to happen, at least not in its current form. Before you turn too sad, here’s a piece of digital consolation - virtual tuning for the Asterion.

The work comes from Hansen Art and simulates an actual tuner’s actions rather well. From the fixed rear wing, to the bespoke wheels, most of the aspects touched by companies who like to customize Lamborghinis are here.

First of all, the Asterion was dressed in a color that seems to act even more like a piece of eye candy, a member of the infamous Lamborghini Giallo (Yellow) family.

As Lamborghini itself like to do on certain special editions, the Asterion was gifted with a carbon fiber armor, consisting of a front splitter and more pronounced side skirts, as well as the aforementioned rear wing - in case you haven’t noticed, tuners have an obsession for fitting Lambos with wings. Even the Aventador, which comes with an active rear wing from the factory, hasn’t escaped this trend. Moreover, the front apron was also modified, being taken from the GT style of the car to the more aggressive approach of Lambo’s production supercars.

Like we said, the custom wheels are also here. We are talking about HRE ones, which feature a five-double-spoke profile and a concave design, while sporting a two-tone color scheme which matches that of the car.

The final touch is given by a rear window delete, an element that renders the car useless, since the whole point of the Asterion was to bring a Grand Tourer approach, something that’s been missing from Lamborghini’s range for decades.

By the way, there may be a chance that some filthy rich customer does end up ordering the Histerion as a one-off. Nonetheless, if that happens, expect the car to drop the hybrid tech in favor of the Aventador's V12.
