Lamborghini cars are selling like hot cakes this year, as the company has announced its best-ever result for the first six months of the year.
We are writing about 2,013 cars delivered by Lamborghini in the first half of 2016, exceeding the 2,000 unit mark for the first time.

While other brands will sell 2,000 cars in hours or days on a global scale, exclusive brands like Lamborghini deal with small volumes, and they also manufacture fewer vehicles overall.

At the same time, Lamborghini also achieved its best-ever June result, with 416 units delivered to customers worldwide.

That is the largest number of Lamborghini cars to get new owners in a single month, and the company says the expansion of the Huracan range with a Spyder version is the explanation behind the sales success.

Furthermore, Lamborghini sales have flourished thanks to the introduction of a rear-wheel-drive version of the Huracan.

The standard, four-wheel-drive, Huracan is still doing well concerning sales, naturally. The V12 model from Lamborghini, Aventador, is also selling according to expectations, and the company predicts it will outperform its sales record again.

Lamborghini only has 135 dealers worldwide, and these concessioners only serve 50 countries. Since the Italian brand only makes luxury sports cars, only well-developed markets have access to an official distributor. The largest markets for Lamborghini are the United States of America, Japan, United Kingdom, China, and Germany.

The first six months of this year also regarded the best semester for V10 sales in Lamborghini history, as the Huracan has achieved an 87% sale figure increase in two years after its market introduction when compared to its predecessor, the Gallardo.

Meanwhile, the Aventador has reached a 127% increase in sales figures after 58 months since its introduction, when compared to its predecessor, the Murcielago, for the same period after its market launch. We must note that the company has not taken factors like global economic situation and production capacity into account for the figures presented above.
