Has Lamborghini really gone too far with its designs by making the Egoista unlike any car you've ever seen? Yes, they most likely have, but you can never restrict opulence and wealth. The rules have clearly been broken, but the amazing single-seater selfish man's supercar still deserves praise.
By breaking with tradition, the Egoista finds to exude power and demand respect. Like a venomous snake or a wild tiger, we know we should fear it and keep our distance, yet are also mesmerized by its surfaces.
Designed after an attack helicopter, its many flat surfaces hint at stealth characteristics. At the middle of it all is a carbon-fiber and aluminum cockpit, encased by an orange canopy unlike anything else in the car world.
This short clip shows how that very canopy opens and closes. It even makes the sort of hydraulic sound you'd expect from a warbird.
Believe it or not, the Italians actually built a stealth helicopter called the Agusta A129 Mangusta which was not very successful. They can, however, make attack helicopters with four wheels and V10 engines that never take off. Good job Lamborghini!
