LaFerrari Makes Donuts on Wet Airfield Seem like Child's Play

Rain is threatening the eagerly anticipated 2016 summer fun times in multiple parts of Europe these days, but certain car events know how to make the most out of the wet tarmac.
Come to think of it, when you have a LaFerrari and an empty airfield at your disposal, the stunt mentioned above isn't all that difficult to pull. This was the case at a German automotive event that took place over the weekend, with a Ferrari hybrid stealing the show.

Dressed in white, the LaF put on a spinning show, with the 950 hp (make that 963 PS if you're a follower of the metric system) gas-electric beast baking a series of donuts. The shenanigan was obviously caught on camera and you can enjoy it all in the clip at the bottom of the page.

While we wish this part of the story hadn't been required, we feel the need to mention the driver of this Maranello halo car is one of the many supercar/hypercar handlers who still need to learn a thing or two about car control.

Sure, when you pull donuts in a LaFerrari, most people won't complain about the technicality, or rather lack thereof, but keeping the wheels turned and flogging it isn't enough.

While the guy does try to pull wider circles at times, he eventually gives in to the temptation of allowing the LaF's tail to step fully out. This obviously leads to the kind of silly circles a four-year-old could pull, provided he or she could reach the pedals.

Oh well, at least the man is doing his thing outside public roads, which, as we've learned from previous LaFerrari sliding episodes, is quite an achievement these days.

Returning to the hypercar itself, the LaFerrari is definitely the most playful member of the HHHT (Holy Hypercar Hybrid Trinity) and this video easily allows that asset to shine through.
