Another month, another LaFerrari crash. On this occasion, the Prancing Horse halo car was abused in London, and yes, we seem to be dealing with about yet another LaF driver losing control. At least that’s what we see in the pair of images below, which show the hypercar facing traffic the wrong way after having hit the divider on the A40.
There’s also a video, which shows the car being taken away on the back of a truck, with the footage appearing to have been caught in Central London.

While this isn’t the kind of damage that will strip the world of one of its 499 LaFerraris, we can’t call it minor either. While multiple body panels are affected, the left rear wheel’s lack of alignment shows clear signs of a strong hit - this reminds us of the time when Ferrari engineers were testing the LaFerrari on Fiorano, with one of the rear wheels showing severe issues during a powerslide.

While we’re not entirely sure about this, we might be talking about the LaFerrari in the second video below, which is well-known in the London supercar world. By the way, the video shows a cyclist proving London traffic allows you to keep up with a hypercar using pedal power.

In case you’re wondering where that number plate comes from, you should know this hypercar is registered in Guernsey, a small island in the British Channel.

The LaFerrari versus its drivers

As we said in the past, multiple LaFerrari owners have serious issues with understanding what they are driving. Maranello engineers may have built a hybrid hypercar that can be used as a drifting tool, but these people got the wrong idea and are sliding the 950 hp Ferrari on the street.

To the best of our knowledge, this has only led to interesting insurance situations so far, with no injuries related to any LaFerrari accident. Here’s to hoping things stay that way.
