If we have to choose one topic that's kept us on our toes throughout the week, that's the LaFerrari Aperta. And we're here to bring you the latest goodies on the matter.
The week started with a spy video revealing the partial canvas roof of the upcoming Prancing Horse halo car. Maranello responded promptly by giving us three official photos of the open-air LaF and not much else.
To be more precise, the Italians explained the open-top model packs the same 950 hp (make that 963 PS, you metric system fans) gas-electric powertrain as the fixed-roof version, while stating the aerodynamic updates allow the Aperta to pack the same drag coefficient, even with its top down. However, out of all the puzzle pieces we're still missing, the one bugging us the most has to do with the production number of the beast.
The press photos mentioned above showed the LaF A in a restrained shade of Gray and we can't wait until the Paris Motor Show, when the official unveiling is scheduled, to see how a more colorful take on the hyper-hybrid looks like.
As a result, we've brought along the tons of rendering below, which show the velocity beast in various liveries. From the classic British Racing Green to more psychedelic approaches, there's something in the gallery below for everybody - pixel tip to NS2 Media for this delicious pieces of eye candy.
We can't wait to see what happens once the Aperta LaFerraris, which have already been sold out, start showing up in the real world. That's because one of the things we've learned from the LaFerrari (coupe) is that owners can get extremely creative when playing with colors and textures, with Ferrari's Tailor Made department being there to help (this is the supercar spec game, remember?).
In fact, just yesterday we brought you an Orange LaFerrari with Purple carbon and Purple wheels, which showed up... out of the blue.
