It's been a while since supercar and hypercar drivers figured out they can drift their machines on the grass with no consequences. So whenever one of them can take advantage of a relatively straight terrain covered in the green stuff, he or she might just use the opportunity to stir things up on social media. And when a LaFerrari and a Ferrari 488 Pista jump the bandwagon, you might want to check out the result.
Now, the adventure that brought us here has a good side, as well as a bad one. And I'll start with the first - the LaF and the Pista didn't do this separately. Instead, their drivers pushed the beasts sideways shoulder to shoulder, thus making everything better.
As for the bad bit, this has to do with pursuing perfection or something like that - the Prancing Horses didn't engage in what's technically called tandem drifting, as their drivers weren't exactly prepared for the repair bills that can be associated with the kind of door-to-door stunts.
Instead, the two Maranello toys started doing donuts right next to each other, as you'll be able to notice in the piece of footage at the bottom of the page. But I won't complain.
Between the, these two red contraptions pack 1,683 horsepower, so this is a number to remember.
Now, if you happen to be in a hurry, you can jump to the 16:42 point of the video for the looney bits. However, the rest of the clip is also worthy of your attention.
That's because the vid portrays the Heveningham Concours, which took place in the UK last weekend and brought together impressive dealer and private collections (hey, here's the liquid silver Bugatti Chiron we discussed earlier this week).
Oh, and here's why those of you tuned into our hooning tales might be experiencing deja vu at the moment.
