Lady Gaga Audi R8 GT Spotted in Beverly Hills?

If you’re into the Beverly Hills supercar scene, there’s not going to be a bigger piece of news this week than Lady Gaga’s new ride!
The pop star might have dubious taste in hats and makeup, but we stand 100% behind her choice of car. This is the 2012 Audi R8 GT she was spotted driving around in this particular example of the exclusive German supercar. Up until now, we’ve only been able to show you some paparazzi shots that were posted on Twitter, but thanks to ATWorkChannel, we can show you the car in depth... or at least that's what the video claims.

This is clearly the R8 GT, not the V10. While media reports said Gaga baught this and not the V10, closer inspeciton of those photos reveals she was driving a regular series car. So, could she have tested that and ordered a GT spec model instead? We can't know for sure right now.

This is one of 333 Audi R8 GTs that will ever be built. As it’s still sitting on the dealer’s lot, we can tell you it was sold by Pacific Audi. A bit of internet searching, and we found the car is listed at $196,800. This isn’t Lamborghini Aventador money, bit it’s not cheap either.

Still, Lady Gaga should have no trouble paying for it was Forbes’ 2011 top-earning women in the music lists. She reportedly raked in $90 million from album sales, touring and endorsements.

We’ll remind you the limited production R8 GT is a high-performance version of the regular car. The output of its 5.2-liter V10 engine has been lifted to 560 hp, while the vehicle is also roughly 100 kilograms (220.46 lb) lighter. The Audi R8 GT accelerates from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 320 km/h (198.84 mph).
