It will most likely take an eternity and a half to get the message through to all drivers: road regulations have been established for a very good reason, and that reason is safety.
Unfortunately we get to see so many road users, both drivers and riders who chose to ignore these rules... much to the dismay and injury of riders, as they're the most vulnerable element in this equation.
Take this ignorant driver who simply steers left after having slowed down just a bit, ignoring the basic need to give way to incoming traffic. Unluckily, there is a motorcycle coming his way and since cares not for priority and other (seemingly obsolete) elementary road safety precautions, the crash is unavoidable.
The passenger seems to be alright but it looks like the rider has sustained a more serious injury, most likely a broken left leg, as the Lada Niva crashed into the side of the bike. License suspension, fines, damages... but still, wouldn't the day have been so much brighter if the stupid driver only cared about the basic rules of the road?
