L.A. Lakers’ Carlos Boozer Goes Custom on His Mercedes S-Class

After four years of staying with the Bulls, Carlos Boozer decided he’d play for the L.A. Lakers recently. And with any change of teams, there also comes a new ride. At least that is the case with this fellow, who just took his white Mercedes-Benz S 550 to the shop, for some personal touches.

Even though most of his fans know Carlos Boozer as Chicago Bulls’ player, on July 15 he was released by the team via the amnesty clause. Two days later, the Lakers claimed off waivers and will pay $3.25 million of his $16.8 million salary, while the Bulls will pay the remaining $13.55 million. You see, the salary comes in millions with these famous sportsmen so there is no wonder they get the best treatment for their four-wheelers.

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz S 550 Sedan is priced at $94,400 (EUR 71,787), but that is obviously what you’d pay if you were to take the one with no options included. As to our particular case, according to the guys over at the Miami-based Auto Firm, Boozer’s ride is getting the Snow White Avorza Cistom Interior. All chrome parts are getting blacked out and the car will no longer sit on its original wheels, as it’s getting new 22’’ Avorza inspired Donz Forged Wheels.

Sounds pretty good if you ask us, but we still don’t quite understand what’s the deal with all this white the basketball player loves having his cars covered in. Just a reminder, the other car he was seen driving around is yet another white ride, only it’s part of the off-road family, a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
