0 to 100 real quick… We’re pretty sure that is what Dominican baseball player Hanley Ramirez will probably be playing for a while in his new toy. The Los Angeles Dodgers star recently bought a new white Lamborghini Aventador Roadster which he took it straight to the shop for a bit of fresh touch.
Ramirez was the 2006 National League Rookie of the Year. Three years later, he won the National League batting title and in 2010 finished runner-up in the Home Run Derby. He is also a three-time All-star starter. The man has talent and hard work written all over his face so it’s no wonder there is a little bit of spoiling in his life.

Father of two, the 30-year old baseball player has been married for ten years now, but that doesn’t mean he can’t act all bachelor-ish when it comes to the cars he owns. After all, the Aventador doesn’t necessarily have to be the sportscar only rich men drive to pick up ladies, but is also the ride car-enthusiasts go for.

And please name us one person who wouldn’t want to own one of these babies. The Aventador Roadster is as much about the looks, as it is about performance. Equipped with the same monster V12 engine as the coupe version, its figures will not seize to impress: 0 to 62mph in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph.

We’re talking about a car that costs almost half a million dollars, but considering the amount of money Ramirez is making (Hanley’s salary in 2013 was $15.5 million) we’re pretty sure it wasn’t such a problem.
