One year ago Arruebarrena signed a 5-year contract worth a reported $25 million, with a $7.5 million signing bonus. Some ups and downs followed, but all together Erisbel Arruebarrena is now dancing with the big fellows in the industry. This does not only imply hard work, but also high lifestyle. And it seems the 24-year old baseball player got a quick grip of the game since he’s already buying his second luxury ride in less than 6 months.
It was last month we found ourselves writing about the same guy, only it was a different car. Still a Mercedes-Benz, of course, but instead of the Germans’ 7-seat luxury SUV, Arruebarrena was dealing with his new luxury sedan, the S550. The car was sent to the tuning-shop to get the proper care and Alexa Varga’s boys at The Auto Firm made sure the Cuban sportsman would ride in style. The car got some color refresh on its exterior and a new pair of 22’’ Avorza Forged wheels.
Now, the newest ride the baseball player bought is a white Mercedes-Benz GL550.The Alabama-built SUV has the most space of any Mercedes model and we think it's quieter, more refined and luxurious as well. In other words, Erisbel is driving a better, stronger and more luxurious big-boy than the G-Wagon, possibly the most popular among celebrities.
As far as we can tell, the car got color keyed and a new pair of custom wheels, similar to the previous Mercedes. No word on the interior or on any enhancements under the bonnet. As to the color, it seems to be what this baseball players is most fond off, since all of his cars are wearing it as far as we know.
