How to make a classic bike look even "more classic" is a tough job, but the four Spaniards gathered under the La Corona badge seem to have found a recipe, at least for an 1981 BMW R100RS.
The old boxer motorcycle was stripped of all the bodywork, because the project La Corona had in mind was a naked tacker bike. That's how it came to be that the bike they baptized "004" only kept a rear fender, customized to follow the new lines of the machine. A Kawasaki KZ750 tank replaced the bulky BMW one, and dirt bike handlebars have been also installed for a more comfortable riding position, with a miniature digital instrument cluster on top.

Since the wiring in all these BMW bikes is a bit too much on the loose side, La Corona has re-worked and simplified everything, and have added a gel battery in a custom case under the engine. New filters and custom engine cases have been installed for a tidier look.

While the forks and brakes are standard, the rims have been changed for matching golden mesh ones shod with Firestone AND Military tires. Exhausts are La Corona originals, too. In case clean BMW flat tracker looks are your game, drop La Corona a line, as it looks like the 004 BMW is on sale.
