The misleading title isn't confirming or denying that this is, in fact, the Ferrari 488 owned by the famous Kylie Jenner. But it looks the part, plus the wheel change was done at West Coast Customs, traditionally a place where celebs get work done.
There's no question that the Ferrari 488, be it the GTB or the Spider, is well liked by celebrities. In fact, we just talked about the Jenner sisters having matching black and silver examples.
The downside to thousands of these cars being made every year is that there's one around every block in Los Angeles. It doesn't help that silver grabs attention like cement or oats.
Here is the point where we say that the custom wheels help, right? Well, they do lift the Ferrari out of "anonymity." The alloys made by American company Lexani are called LZ-105 F, and they measure 21x9 inches at the front, followed by 22x11.5 inches at the rear of the car.
Here's where it gets weird. First of all, the 488 already has custom wheels when it arrives at the shop. But we found a clip from January 2017 where the car is rocking stock wheels. Not only that, but it doesn't seem to have the yellow painted brake caliper option seen now. There's also no mention of the celebrity connection on WCC's website.
Maybe we're just too suspicious, and this really is Kylie Jenner's Ferrari 488 Spider getting custom wheels. We'll know sooner or later when she takes it out for a drive and gets snapped.
It's not like Kylie shies away from customizing her cars. Her earlier 458 (not the 488) example received both a wrap and some candy-apple red wheels. However, it seems she has other things on her mind right now, like customizing her look.
The 20-year old rose to attention today when she posed with pink hair, a white bodysuit, and tiara on a shaggy pink rug, thus promoting her Lip Kits.
