Kyle Busch Motorsports to Enter Camping World Truck Series

After he pulled what he calls "a pit road fake on everybody," 2009 Nationwide champion Kyle Busch confirmed he has purchased Xpress Motorsports' equipment and will form his own Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) entry in the Camping World Truck Series next season.

For this year I’ve been working with late model teams across the country, the next logical step was the Camping World Truck Series," Busch was quoted as saying by Auto123.

KBM will be headed by Rick Ren, former crew chief for Ron Hornaday's 2009 champion team. Lead driver for the Toyota Tundra two-truck team will be Tayler Malsam, while the second truck will be shared by Busch himself and Brian Ickler.

The addition of a third truck is not entirely ruled out by the new team owner, but only after a sponsor is found for Johnny Benson, the man expected to drive the third Tundra.

"I’ve got a lot of leadership with Rick Ren, one of best guys in the series. Ren had previously been the crew chief on Ron Hornaday’s championship truck on the team owned by Kevin Harvick Inc. Ren brings a career consisting of two championships and 27 victories. He will be our director of competition,” added Busch.

According to bleacherreport.com, KBM's entry in the Camping World Truck Series may mean for the sport what Brawn GP meant for Formula 1. All expect one of the most successful new entries in the motorsport's history. It remains to be seen...
