The latest model in the 3 Series range, the Gran Turismo, is aimed at family men that want that extra room for their kids when they go in long trips, kind-of like the the Griswolds used to do, back in the 80s.
Nowadays though, technology made important breakthroughs and, instead of using a Ford Country Squire, people can now use a BMW 3 Series GT. Some people though, thought the GT's suspension is not as comfortable as it could be, neither as stiff as it should.
The KW variants for the GT were just released. From the DDC "Plug and Play" system, with electronic damper control, to Variant 1, Variant 2 and Variant 3 coil overs, the German manufacturer thought of all things that matter. Between the four suspension alternatives, you can lower the front axle between 30 mm and 55 mm and the rear axle from 15 mm to 40 mm.
For the DDC Plug and Play program, you'll only have to replace the shock absorbers, thanks to KW parts' compatibility with the BMW chassis. You will then be able to use the car's own electronic to adjust the settings. Of course, this program is only available for cars already fitted with BMW's own adaptive dampers.
