Kuryakyn, one of the big and heavy names in the aftermarket parts and accessories business, announces the launch of a new division. Crusher, Kuryakyn’s new subsidiary will be focused on performance upgrades available for the motorcycle brands served until now. The new brand will be introduced very soon in early August during the 2014 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The official introduction of the new brand will take place at the Black Hills Harley-Davidson, official Kuryakyn sources report. This means that H-D will most likely be the first maker to receive new Crusher upgrades, with the rest of the bikes to follow in later. Kuryakyn currently offers product ranges for Harley, Indian, and Victory motorcycles, with two more categories being Honda Goldwing and the metric bikes.

Crusher not only represents a big step in the development of Kuryakyn, but a wonderful way to celebrate 25th anniversary of the brand. Holger Mohr, Kuryakyn President adds: “2014 marks our 25th anniversary. We have started this new division as one of the first steps in following the initiatives we’ve laid out for our next 25 years.”

The first product to debut at the premiere of Crusher will be the Maverick Series exhausts. The Maverick silencers are designed and made in the US and 4” slip-ons and 2-into-2 systems will be showcased for the first time in Sturgis. They come with precision machines billet aluminium tips and high-temperature ceramic coating for an impeccable finish, slotting in the premium product range.

Hopefully Kuryakyn will sort things out with the Crusher website, which is currently down. We’ll bring you news from Sturgis as the rally kicks off on August 2.
