Kumho to Offer Tire Insurance in Australia

Tire manufacturer Kumho has found a new and ingenious way to attract Australian customers by introducing the Kumho "No Worries" Road Hazard warranty. Customers interested have to pay a small fee.

Drivers who decide to buy any of the tires in the Kumho Ultra High Performance range can opt to pay Au $3.95 for each tire and protect their investment from damage due to potholes, gutters and foreign objects on the road. If you choose the The Road Hazard warranty, than tires damaged and unable to be repaired for road use will be replaced free of charge with the same or an equivalent tire. According to Kumho Tires' David Basha, the No Worries Road Hazard Warranty is a very good way for clients to protect their expensive, high performance tires.

"Our roads are increasingly hostile environments for low profile high performance tyres which are increasingly popular on a wider range of vehicles from passenger cars to utes and SUVs," said David Basha. "Potholes, gutters, and debris seem to be more prevalent and can often catch out the most careful and attentive drivers," he added.

"An investment of around $16 on a new set of ultra high performance tyres could save motorists up to $1600 should all four tyres be damaged, and that can and does happen," added David Basha.

"Kumho sees this as a customer car initiative and our key dealers have embraced the concept as a way of adding value to our Ultra High Performance range,"
concluded the Kumho Tires official.
