Kuberg expands their line-up with a new model dedicated to teenagers: the Free-Rider, an electric bike which will take electric motorcycling beyond the confines of the motocross track Kuberg was used to.
The Kuberg Free-Rider is engineered with cross experience and brings a new level of performance and better terrainability, but it can also be used for downhill or freeriding, or on BMW and freestyle tracks.

There's rather limited info on the tech specs of the Kuberg Free-Rider, but the manufacturer claims this bike will also be a fun pit machine for adults, as its motor is surprisingly powerful. And with the gas-charged rear shock, there might really be more to this bike than meets the eye.

Kuberg Free-Rider is said to deliver a 40-mile (64 km) range and a top speed of 28 mph (45 km/h). Deliveries are said to start in January 2014 and the announced price is $3,500 (€2.575).

While we're waiting for more tech specs to better estimate the bang-for-the-buck factor, we like this machine quite a lot, especially for its svelte profile and neat simplicity. And maybe Kuberg will also consider a street-legal version...
