When you think of offroad riding, KTM is usually the name that pops in your mind. And that’s because it has ruled offroad for decades. The company now is launching some special edition SIX DAYS models to celebrate the success, all coming with performance upgrades and top-shelf components.
In 2016, the ISDE (International Six Days Enduro) will be held in Navarre, Spain, and these two special KTM models have been equipped to handle anything the dusty and rocky terrain can throw at them.
Based on the new XC-W and EXC-F platforms, the 300 XC-W SIX DAYS and 450 EXC-F SIX DAYS are the ultimate iterations of KTM’s enduro lineup. Gifted with special graphics and orange frames, the models look as good as they perform. And performance gets boosted through anodized CNC machining triple clamps, front fork preload adjusters, floating front brake rotor, solid rear brake rotor and more.
For a detailed analysis, KTM says the 2017 300 XC-W SIX DAYS is equipped with preload adjustable WP XPLOR front forks, machined orange anodized triple clamps, handlebar with Six Days logo, map select switch, Supersprox Stealth 2-piece rear sprocket, floating front brake disc, Selle Dalla Valle Wave Factory Racing seat, exclusive Six Days logo silencer, engine skid plate, front axle puller, orange chain guide, Giant Wheels with Six Days logo, orange frame and exclusive graphics.
Moving to the bigger 450 EXC-F SIX DAYS, the model comes with the same preload adjustable WP XPLOR forks, special triple clamps, logo handlebar, orange anodized rear sprocket, floating front disc, solid rear brake disc, Selle Dalla Valle Wave Factory Racing seat, engine skid plate, front axle puller, orange chain guide, Giant Wheels with logo, radiator fan and the cool Six Days graphics.
The ISDE competition is also sponsored by KTM along with SHERCO, Motorex, and Airoh. The event will take place between 6 and 17 October, with the first race being called on 11th.
