Christmas is long-gone and the winter break is over, too, but this doesn’t mean the fun’s over. In fact, if you decide to get a SX Pro Snow Racer from KTM, you’ll learn that as long as you’ve got a slope and snow, each day can be Christmas and the winter holidays. Unfortunately, this looks like fun reserved to KTM fans living in Europe alone, but we guess it’s worth asking your local orange dealer about this.
The KTM SX Pro Snow Racer comes with a sturdy steel frame painted in shiny black and contrasting with the orange plastic parts. The handlebars are BMW original and they are equipped with top-drawer non-slip grips, for sure-handed contact and reliable steering.

This snow racer has a twin-tip ski in the front, and so are the other two. Manufactured from sturdy plastic with excellent resilience in the cold, the skis are not only hard to break even after prolonged exposure to the freezing snow and ice, but they also have excellent sliding properties for gliding fast across multiple types of surfaces.

You don’t even have to take care of the pull-cord, as the KTM SX Pro Snow Racer has a roll-up system which will automatically rewind the cord as you release it from your hand. Like all similar things, the KTM SX Pro Snow Racer comes with a braking system with steel claws which will help the riders slow down.

Since some of us here had certain “near miss” experiences aboard such contraptions, we’d advise to use the brake to keep the KTM SX Pro Snow Racer in control, as it will not stop you in meters once it builds up high speed. That is, this is only a piece of steel scraping the ice, and no 320mm ABS-equipped hydraulic disc.

KTM doesn’t mention adults riding the SX Pro Snow Racer, and judging by the thickness of the bars, we’d only have kids aboard it. In Europe, the KTM SX Pro Snow Racer (p/n 3PW1573200) can be had for around €200, motorbiker says, which is not exactly cheap. Ducati, Honda, BMW, wake up, it's fun time!
