The 2017 KTM SX Factory Edition models are said to be the most “ready to race” machines in their class and will be offered in limited numbers in Europe, USA, Canada, and Mexico. The company didn’t mention exactly the number of units available, though.

Starting with the bigger one, the 2017 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition gets to put power to the ground very efficiently thanks to traction control, launch control, and a two-stage engine map switch. It is also fitted with updated WP AER 48 forks and rear shock absorber along with a titanium Akrapovic muffler to drop more weight.

Moreover, the special 450 SX-F comes with CNC-machined orange anodized triple clamps, D.I.D DirtStar rims, orange factory-look frame, and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing replica graphics.

The smaller 2017 KTM 250 SX-F Factory Editions gets its fair share of the goodies too, the torquey engine and lightweight chassis being complemented by refined WP AER 48 forks, orange anodized triple clamps, an FMF titanium exhaust, launch control and D.I.D DirtStar rims, just like its bigger brother.

The 250 SX-F will be available with the latest Red Bull KTM and Troy Lee Designs team graphics combined with a stylish orange frame for the full factory look.

As you might know already, the KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition has led Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey to a successful racing campaign for the last two seasons, claiming the first place in both AMA Supercross World Championship 2015 and 2016 editions. The 2015 AMA Pro Motocross Championship is also among his recent victories.

Being the lightest and best performing bike in its class, it’s easy to see why the 250 SX-F Factory Edition is also the bike of choice in the smaller bracket for the Red Bull KTM and Troy Lee Designs team.
