Who thought that what KTM revealed about the 1290 Super Duke R in the first place should better think again: the Austrians have unlocked yet another "special" on the 1290-dedicated website and it's once more drooling time. The bike will be available in several trims, such as Style, Black, Racing or Orange.
Of course, KTM has prepared a ton of accessories to allow customers to personalize their beast the way they like. Even more, we can expect the Power Parts catalog showing off some high-performance parts to add even more character to this already awesome machinery.
A special Akrapovic titanium silencer is available, laser-etched with the 1290 and Akra logo, and it requires no re-mapping, while shaving some 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs) off the bike. Add in a pillion seat cover, a race-grade triple clamp in CNC machined, anodized aluminium, adjustable, articulated brake and clutch levers, carbon fenders and chain guard, and machined parts for the Style trim.
The Race package brings wave rotors, lever guards, frame crash pads, a complete Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system with removable dB killer, adjustable foot rests, a racing seat and a steering damper kit.
The Orange and Black versions most likely need no details as their name is kind of self-explanatory. Waiting for the prices for these nifty packages...
