Givi introduces the newest range of adventure-touring accessories for the all-new 2015 KTM 1050 Adventure. This sport-adventure bike can now be fully-equipped to take on long hauls offering increased comfort, peace of mind and functionality to the discerning rider.
With a huge experience in designing and manufacturing motorcycle accessories, Italian specialists Givi also offer great value for the buck, with slightly more affordable prices than the competition, and quality/ performance that's at least comparable.

Givi is offering a comprehensive list of accessories that will serve both riders who prefer to stay on tarmac, and those who will venture on less-trodden paths.

Getting ready for the long trip, on asphalt or in the dirt

Possibly the best-selling aftermarket accessory for all bikes, the luggage carrier system is first one the 1050 Adventure list. The racks are crafted from 18mm (1.4") tubular steel pipe and will accommodate aluminium Trekker Outback sidecases.

A complementary accessory for the luggage system is the top case receiver. Its standard version will accommodate both Givi's Monokey and Monolock top cases. An aluminium adapter plate is also available but only for Monokey top cases.

Also in the luggage department, Givi's special tank filler flange will effortlessly accommodateTanklock tankbags. This system is very convenient as locking a tankbag in place and removing it is effortless and adds to the ovearall comfort. Tanklock systems are also very safe, and make sure that the bags stay in place.

Two windscreens have also been added to the offer. The first one is 17cm (6.7") taller than the stock, and which provides excellent protection for road touring, while the other has an adjustable design with 12 cm (4.7") of travel.

The latter offers both highway-haul comfort and better visibility ahead when treading on rougher terrain, while allowing air flow to cool the rider in the city. Both screens will fit on existing screws, no modifications needed.

Power comes from metal

An extension for the side stand (not unlike a Camel Toe) is also available in both steel and aluminium, and it expands the footprint of the stand ensuring more stability when parked on soft soil.

Tubular steel engine crash protectors are also on the list, as well as an aluminium sump guard that protects the underbelly of the bike from impacts with rocks. A complete price list will be available shortly, but KTM 1050 Adventure owners preparing for their vacation would better contact their nearest Givi dealer right away.
