Whether they’re dating or not one thing is certain, they love to offer each other expensive birthday presents. Rapper French Montana surprised Khloe Kardashian with a brand new Jeep Wrangler Sahara for her birthday, so it was only natural she did the same. As opposed to her boyfriend, however, she gifted him a Quadski XL amphibian vehicle.
With an approximate price of $40,000 (EUR32,000) the ATV amphibian is close to the price of a fully loaded Jeep Wrangler Sahara and it’s a grown up toy each of us would like to take for a spin… or a swim, for that matter. Well, at least that’s what we thought until we saw Montana’s video he posted on in Instagram the other day, showing yet somebody else riding on his new toy.
“Thank to a very special person for my 007 gift for my bday from the one and only Khloe Kardashian. Of course I let the dealer test drive it 1st no need for me to be the 1st one to drown. Couldn’t believe they made these”, the rapper wrote next to the clip. It turns the rapper is not really that much of a bad-boy, considering he didn't even have the guts to drive a grown up’s toy.
As to the four-wheeler in question, the Quadski XL was recently unveiled by its maker, Gibbs Sports, as an update of its one-seat brother. The wheelbase of the original Quadski grew by 11.8 inches (30 cm) and this also added to the storage capcity. The amphibian also received some design and functional upgrades, such as the larger air intake on the hood and new bumpers.
The time for its transformation from a ground-vehicle to a boat was also improved with about 2 seconds compared to the previous model, which means French Montana will have around 5 seconds to change his mind and stop the process, just in case he chickens out...
