Koenigsegg Teases New Agera RS with Drawing of a New Wing ahead of Geneva

Koenigsegg isn’t your usual run of the mill company that comes out with a new car every other month, entering a new niche or anything like that whenever a marketing specialist says there’s a quick buck to be made. Oh no, they are in the business of making hypercars and these things don’t come around easy.

The company already announced that it will be bringing a new version of the Agera R model at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show that will be taking place next week. However, that’s all they said, teasing the hell out of us and any fan of the brand.

The Agera RS that is confirmed to make a debut is going to be an even better car compared to the already ridiculously powerful R model. Don’t expect the changes to be huge though, as we’re already talking about extremely high levels of performance here.

As the official Koenigsegg poster seems to suggest, the new model will be wearing a new wing at the back that seems to have a different design, with two fins on the outer edges and a similar shape in between.

On the power front, the RS should use the same 5-liter twin-turbo engine from the R model but with an output taken over the 1,100 HP and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) barrier.

The Swedes also mentioned the name Regera in the past related to the Geneva Motor Show so we could also expect this model to make a first appearance here. However, unlike the Agera RS, this will be a completely new model that might just be close to the epic One:1 in performance. We’ll just have to wait and see... Don’t worry, we’ll be there to bring you the hottest photos of the world debuts on the showroom floor.
