Koenigsegg One:2 Is the Cutest Hypercar Ever

Hypercars are machines that are meant to tear up everything around them. Whether it's literally smoking other cars or blasting mortals with a glorious sound, this is a genre that can’t be put in the same sentence with “cute”. Or so we thought.
Meet the Koenigsegg One:2, a ridiculously adorable digital incarnation of the Swedish carmaker’s One:1. Here the car is seen “tackling” the Goodwood Hill Climb.

While the actual car takes its designation from only burdening each of its horses with one kilogram (1,341 PS and 1,341 kg/2,956 lbs), we’re not quite sure what happens with this One:2. Perhaps it’s all an example of downsizing which has hept the ratio while halving the two aforementioned values. Amusingly enough, that would still mean it packs almost as much muscle as an Aventador. Oh and by the way, just imagine how you'd feel when parking this sideways across two other cars at Wallmart. But enough with the fantasy world.

The image, which comes from Sam Moores Photography, doesn’t use this background by accident. We’ll remind you that the actual car put on quite a show at this year’s Festival of Speed.

Koenigsegg, which will only build six units of the One:1, has brought two of these to the British event. A full-carbon model was posing like a superstar, while a Silver one did all the work. The hypercar pulled stunts such as donuts and burnouts on the narrow Goodwood asphalt. OK, it also ate a bit of grass, but it was all controlled.
