Driving a Koenigsegg is one of those experiences that can definitely be written down in a journal and then maybe described in detail to your grandchildren. Then again, the chances of doing such a thing depend on the particular model you’re dreaming about.
That’s because the Swedish company usually makes between under ten and about 20, 25 cars of each model. Therefore, the chances of driving a One:1 and an Agera are quite different.

Now imagine the fact that the company owned by Christian von Koenigsegg is currently in the process of building a car that has a transmission that uses only one gear. We’re talking about the Regera, a car that has a combined output of 1,500 HP and 2,000 Nm of torque but weighs just 1,420 kg.

It’s a whole new breed and to get a small idea of the performance in brings to the table, you should know that the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) spring is irrelevant. Therefore, they are advertising the car with other numbers such as 3.2 seconds. That’s the amount of time it takes to go from 150 to 250 km/h (93-155 mph).

The top speed of the car is rumored to be over 400 km/h (248 mph) and reaching this benchmark speed takes less than 20 seconds. Too good to be true? You better believe it!

Therefore, seeing a Regera driving alongside a One:1 (of which only seven were ever made) is a truly rare occasion. Together, the two cars have nearly 3,000 HP and they can do amazing things. Just listen to those 5-liter V8s!
