It's difficult to keep one's imagination from running wild when the name of the "Koenigsegg Jesko" is pronounced. And that's because the automotive producer is working on a new version for the hypercar, with this sister car, if you will, set to play in the 300 mph league.
The standard scenario of the sort involves gear heads thinking of how the newcomer will leave some of the Jesko's downforce hardware behind in order to achieve higher maximum velocity. Then again, we're here for a custom tale.

To be more precise, the Jesko portrait found in the rendering that brought us here showcases the 1,600 horsepower monster with an extra wing. This is located where the roof ends, like the one found on the Lamborghini Miura Jota SVR, for instance.

And we haven't even reached the spiciest part of the story. This involves the reason behind the said second wing, namely a pair of jet engines. Attached to the sides of the Angelholm machine's main wing, these should provide the kind of thrust that can take the Swedish hypercar to the next level.

Those of you who are tuned into our Speed Shot tales (there's a tag for that below) might not be surprised by this idea, especially since Plastiliner, the label behind it, has previously given us a Bugatti Chiron also featuring jet engines (and then some).

In fact, we've been constantly talking about fresh Koenigsegg designs this month. And that's because the Angelholm automaker's new design chief, Sasha Selipanov, has introduced the #koenigseggsketchchallenge, a shenanigan that invites independent designers to come up with their view of the brand, with the results being spectacular to say the least.

And while the contraptions imagined as part of the said challenge are all-new, the one sitting before us is wacky enough to deserve our attention.
