Koenigsegg Claims Agera R Is Way Better Than LaFerrari, McLaren P1

After the Geneva Motor Show came to an end, most petrolheads have agreed that LaFerrari and McLaren P1 are the greatest supercars introduced in 2013.
Some might disagree, of course, but the biggest opposition comes, surprisingly, from another supercar manufacturer. Sweden's Koenigsegg claims that the aforementioned hypercars are no match for its latest Agera R model.

Before LaFerrari fans start bashing the Swedes, we want to add that Koenigsegg supported its claims with facts like both LaFerrari and McLaren P1 having less power and far lower top speeds. Weight was also taken into account, the Agera R being more lighter thanks, among other things, to its new carbon wheels.

Of course, these kind of comparisons look a little childish, as none of those cars will take a stab at each other on the race track, and we mean motorsport, not Top Gear laps, but it's fun to see performance vehicle automakers bragging from time to time. Unfortunately, the Swedish company lacks Ferrari's and McLaren's heritage.

On the other hand, Koenigsegg has a point, but we would like to see them prove that Agera R is the superior car beyond the Top Gear track.
