The Koenigsegg Agera R needs no introduction. It is an even faster version of the standard Agera, which can and does run very well on ethanol-based biofuel, boosting its power from 930 hp, to an extreme 1,100 hp, while slashing its 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time by two tenths, down to 2.9 seconds in the process.
An Agera R, on Monaco plates, was spotted by Marchettino filling up at a gas station, along with two Ferraris and an Audi R8 Spider, then hitting the road, with the camera car behind it, doing mad overtakes and big acceleration runs, putting on quite a show.
The car’s 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 really sounds the part too, with audible turbo whistle, along with an excellent burble from the exhaust. Seeing and hearing such a car is an event and we are happy to have done so, even if only in a video.
