Koenigsegg Agera Online Configurator Launched

First introduced at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show earlier this month, the 2011 Koenigsegg Agera supercar can now be configurated online on the official Koenigsegg website. This way, the Swedish sport car manufacturer gives the opportunity to configure the Agera even to those that can only dream of owning such an expensive vehicle.

Once you access the online configurator, you will be able to customize your Agera from ‘head to toe.’ There is a choice of three wheel types, including a black one, plus eleven exterior paint colors such as Sparkling Topaz and Emerald Green.

You can also opt for one of the three robotised rear wing types, including the F1 Double Wing and the Top Gear wing. One can also give a personal touch to the car’s interior as well, choosing from the ten available colors and techno gadgets such as USB connectivity and satellite navigation.

Technical wise, the standard powerplant is a 4.7-liter V8 engine that produces 898 horsepower at 6,850 rpm and 1,100 Nm of torque at 5,100 rpm. The car weighs 1,290 kilos so it's able to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 3.1 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds. The maximum speed goes as high as 390 km/h.

Other standard features include dual Airbags, detachable storable hardtop with glass roof, power windows, rear wing, adjustable pedals and steering column, adjustable seats in rake and length, carbon ceramic brakes with Sport ABS, hydraulic lifting system, power steering, power brakes, extra 4-point seatbelts for track use.

Satnav, MP3 player, USB connection, climate control, digital warning and info system, G-sensor, alarm, tire monitoring system, silver key, leather carpets, roof stowage, bag and car cover are also available.

The Agera supercar, which marks the company's 15th anniversary, will be built alongside the CCX and the CCXR.
