Range Rovers, Porsche Cayennes or BMW X5s, they all fade away in the background for the moment, as the world’s rich are captivated with the latest toy from Mercedes’s AMG division.
After swapping out the naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 for a twin-turbo motor with lots more power, Mercedes also gave the G-Class a new look inside and out. The G63 AMG is probably the best version of the G-Class when it comes to play toys.
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is also the sort of person who likes to play automotive games. She’s was the first Hollywood celebrity to Instagram photos of a G63, and we knew she had sent it off to Platinum Motorsport for a makeover.
The end result emerged today, and the G63 AMG has received a white paintjob and some new wheels. We’ll probably have full details about the car in a few weeks when Platinum lets everybody know what they’ve been up to.
