Most women match their shoes and handbag, underwear and bra, or pieces of jewelry. Kim Kardashian matches her cars to her wigs – and it so happens that her favorite hairpiece is in neon green.
Actually, the shade is described as neon lemon-lime by celebrity pundits. She debuted it last week in Miami, where she spent a few days shooting scenes for her reality show and attending the wedding of rapper 2 Chainz.
Also in attendance was husband Kanye West. For the occasion, Kim and Kanye rented a bright neon green Mercedes-Benz G500 4x4 Squared, which was supposed to match Kim’s dress and her hair. Apparently, she loved it so much that she couldn’t stop talking about it. The car, not the wedding reception.
So when she got back home to Los Angeles, Kanye did what all loving (and loaded) husbands do: he had a car just like that one delivered on their driveway, waiting for her. When she got out of the gym, she was thrilled.
In typical Kardashian fashion, she made sure everybody knew about her new set of wheels. So much for her promise after the 2016 Paris robbery that she would be keeping a low profile by not bragging about her diamonds and luxury cars on social media.
“I just got out of the gym and was surprised by this new baby. I loved it so much in Miami, and I kept on talking about it,” Kim says in one of the videos she posted to her Instagram.
“Look who surprised me with this baby,” she says in another, showing a smiling Kanye standing next to the car. “You guys, I got the truck of my dreams because I was so excited in Miami. I’m so excited.”
As it turns out, she and younger sister Kylie Jenner now have matching trucks: Kim’s in neon green and Kylie’s bright orange. It’s impossible to miss either on the road, even if Kim wakes up one day and decides that her neon green wig is no longer working for her.
