We grab every opportunity we can to write about the Alfa Romeo 8C. Apparently, our enthusiasm is shared by small children who also love the 8C. It’s its blend of style and that special ‘something’ which is missing from almost all modern cars.
Despite being dynamically flawed, when compared to more competent (and cheaper) rivals, the 8C featured what is probably the most beautiful body shape of any modern car and a Ferrari-developed V8 engine. It was the noise and the presence that really made it the crowd pleaser it is today. It’s also great through a tunnel, as you may have guessed.
Consider yourself lucky if you have seen one, because only 1000 have been made, with this number including 500 of each body flavor, coupe and roadster.
