The car was on exhibition at a mall in Beijing on Saturday when the boy slipped into the driver’s seat and...well, pushed the pedal. It could be a funny story, even a cute one for Elon Musk’s fans, but it’s not because he hit a pregnant woman in the process.
Now, the fault might as well belong to the Tesla Motors China who most likely shouldn’t have let the cars unattended. According to Shanghaiist, the two cars on display were unlocked so that viewers could enter and get the proper feeling. Luckily, the car seemingly took off at slow speed so the injuries were probably minor.
