Here is an example of a German tuned German built supercar: the Kicherer Mercedes SLS Supersport Black Edition.
The car’s name refers to its exterior that comes dressed in a matte black foil that cover the entire body, including the three-pointed star of the front logo.

The same color is used for the vehicle’s rims. The 20 inch RS-1 light alloy wheels are wrapped in a set of high performance tires.

The SLS has received aerodynamic modifications, being fitted with a carbon fiber spoiler lip and a diffuser that is made of the same material. In addition to that, the car has received fresh side grilles and a new exhaust system, which comes with four, generously-sized, round tips.

The Kicherer incarnation of the SLS has also received mechanical attention for the engine compartment. The supercar’s 6.3 liter V8 egine delivers 620 hp, allowing the vehicle to offer improved dynamic performace. However, the exact 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time and top speed figures have not been released by the tuning house.

For the sake of comparison, we’ll mention that the 6,208 cubic centimeters powerplant produced 571 hp when it left the AMG factory. The figure allows the standard SLS to deal with the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in 3.8 seconds and offer a top speed of 317 km/h (197 mph).

While tuners are busy offering the SLS an extra boost, Mercedes seems to be experiencing a feeling of guilt for releasing of a vehicle that emits 314 grams of CO2/km, with the carmaker presenting an all-electric SLS prototype.
