Kicherer E-Klasse Kit AMG Does... Almost Nothing

The tuners at Kicherer keep working hard on offering more options for the Mercedes Benz owners, so they thought of giving the new E-Klasse AMG a new look and performance upgrades. The guys did a pretty good job, but some say the original AMG kit was better...

So, Kicherer had to interfere first in the exterior styling and added extra features such as a new front spoiler made of carbon, a mirror cover also made of carbon as well as a rear skirt and small rear spoiler... made of carbon fiber of course.

Furthermore, the visual appearance of the car has been slightly modified with the help of a three-part forged 20-inch aluminum rims, sports suspension and a new sports exhaust system with two powerful end pipes to the right and left, that will likely help boost performance too.

Interior modifications were also brought by Kicherer to the E-Klasse AMG through its Performance kit (which, by the way, is the first complete tuning package from Kicherer for the new E-Klasse AMG). Therefore, a new sports steering wheel and numerous visual carbon elements as well as leather coverings for the doors and the dashboard have been added, completing the car’s aggressive feel.

Kicherer, however, was not specific on the engine upgrade, but it seems that the only engine performance improvements consists in a PowerConverter that provides electronic management to the engine, allowing it to provide a faster and more sensitive response during acceleration. “The vehicle thus reacts with more ‚bite‘ even without any increased performance,” said the company’s statement.
