Kia’s 207 vehicle fleet includes the new Sorento SUV, the Soul urban crossover vehicle and the Sedona MPV. The vehicles will be used to transport teams, officials, delegates and VIP visitors during the upcoming month-long tournament, which debuts on June 11.
In addition to its own vehicles, the automaker is supplying a fleet of Kia-liveried buses, including the England National Team Bus, which are scheduled to offer 840 “bus days” of transportation.

“With just 21 days remaining until the opening match of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, the provision of official vehicles is the last piece of the puzzle in ensuring that this long-waited event will be the most successful World Cup in history,” said Jerome Valcke, FIFA secretary general said during the ceremony.
