Kia’s California dream has turned into reality, with the first image of the 2012 Track’ster concept being revealed by the Korean automaker ahead of its debut at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show on Wednesday, February 8th.
The teaser image shows only the back end of the car, with a couple of exhaust tips flanked by a couple huge flared fenders and some slits that look a bit like brackets. The rear glass is pure concept and the brake lights are placed high up.

The car is supposed to be based on the Soul city car, though it’s only got two doors and a chopped roof. The aggressive-looking car isn’t all talk either, as the yet unknown engine delivers 250 horsepower and runs of petrol.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
